100 Blocks Blog Tour!!!

welcome to the blog tour!
if you haven't already, go on over to quiltmaker's and visit the other quilty gals who have designed some fantastic blocks and have lots of giveaways going on!!!

as for me...i can hardly stand it!!!
i am so excited that i was invited to advertise and design a block for quiltmaker magazines' special "100 quilt blocks issue" , to be in stores (and at fat quarters quilt shop) on november 16th.

i got the ad in on time, but just one minor, little, itty bitty, small, minuscule detail...

i MISSED the deadline for the block submission! *ahhhh*
{i think i need to get some sleep!}
oh well, YOU still get to benefit because i've got it right here. yep. right here on my blog is the missing 101st block!!! i call it sunflower seeds.

now, because i'm not computer savvy and i have NO idea how to set it up for you to download, so leave me a comment or email me and i will not only email you a copy of the block pattern, but i will also enter you in a drawing to win your very own copy of the 100 quilt blocks issue and a $25 gift certificate to fat quarters!
just do me {2} favors.
first, be sure to leave a comment by sunday at noon
and second, be sure to include a way for me to get in touch with you if you happen to be the lucky winner!!!
happy hopping!!!

DEADLINE, SMEADLINE, your block rocks! In my color book of life, you are allowed to 1) color outside the lines (very hard for me to do as a child) 2) color grass blue and sky green. And on those two notes, I can so see this block in my fave: lavenders. Yeah, I know, never seen a purple sunflower huh??? That me!

I am SO glad to know that I am not the only one who misses deadlines! There are times when I know that something is due "sometime soon" but I don't know the exact date, so when I finally get a chance to look it up and find that I missed it, I just could kick myself! I really like your sunflower block, and would like to have the pattern, please. And an entry into the drawing would be a bonus! Thanks!

I'm sorry you missed the deadline. Maybe we'll get to see one of your blocks included in the next issue.

Thank you so much for the offer to send the pattern and the chance to win a copy of the magazine. I'm super excited to get a copy myself. I tried a few places today to see if, by chance they had it out early but no such luck. Oh well. I just had to buy other quilt magazine and fabric instead to drown my sorrows that no one had this one out yet. LOL
