WIN PRIZES -- comment on my quilt block "Smooth Sailing" featured in Quiltmakers 100 Blocks Magazine Vol. 13

Comment on Quiltmaker's Blog about my Quilt Block "Smooth Sailing" featured in Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks, Volume 13 for a chance to win this FABULOUS fat quarter bundle of Diamond Textiles Heritage Homespuns!  Also, comment right here on my Blog for a chance to WIN one of these WONDERFUL issues of Quilmaker's 100 Blocks Magazine!

My Quilt Block Smooth Sailing was sooo much fun to make.  The sails are actually folded to create a dimensional effect!  Choose your own favorite fabrics for the sail ... I liked the look of stripes to add the feeling of movement.  You can use any width of stripe ... look at this Christmas sail!

For the sailor in your life, you might want to use a fabric the color of his/her sail.  Add embroidery or applique' letters and numbers to personalize your captains sail boat!

Make 9 blocks, add sashing and cornerstones ... what a cute babies quilt!

Whatever the occasion ... Smooth Sailing is the way to have FUN!

Good morning...
Nice block with so many personal details to make it the quilter's own. I'm not a sail boat person, nor do I know any but this sure is cute block. Since I do charity quilting mostly--- I can see it as a teen quilt in my future...

Congratulations on being in the magazine and on the blog hop.
