At Home with Country Quilts by Cheryl Wall

Master quilter and a friend of Fat Quarters Quilt Shop's, Cheryl Wall invites you to
"Gather up your scraps for great country-style quilts!"

Cheryl's NEW BOOK 'At Home with Country Quilts -- 13 Patchwork Patterns'
is soooo fabulous that when I got the chance to have a trunk show I was very excited to be able to share Cheryl's beautiful quilts in my shop:) We have eight of the 13 projects on display Here is a look at each one.

I hope you will take the time to comment on Cheryl's patterns... and as a little more incentive to do so -- we will be drawing a winner from all those who comment on our blog... The winner will receive a
SIGNED COPY of At Home with Country Quilts !!!

Inspired by the Broken Star pattern, Star Gazing is an amazing quilt.... Sew much fun! This quilt is on display in the shop across from the cash register...
Finsihed size 76 1/2" by 76 1/2"


Twilight Stars
Each finished block is 8" by 8", the finished quilt is 70 1/" square.
We have Twilight Stars on display over the swinging door leading to the kitchen at the shop :)


Scrappy Squares... Is the quilt primitive or formal, country or urban? You decide... And let us what you think... You might win an autographed book ;-)
Finished quilt: 58 1/2" by 72 1/2" and is on display at the fire place.

  2. These designs are just breathtaking, I'm totally in awe ! I'm just beginning my quilting journey, doing very simple designs at the moment, but aspire to create something as beautiful as any of these amazing quilts.

  3. These are lovely and I can just imagine them in your shop. I just know it will be a perfect setting. I especially liked the "Twilight Stars" and "Scrappy Squares" quilts. Looks like I'm gonna have to hop on my Harley and head down for an up close and personal look at all of them. Thank you for sharing and thank you to Cheryl Wall for the inspiration.   10. Love the classic scrapiness of them. Gave me some ideas for 2 pkgs of holiday turnover precuts I recently purchased. Stars are one of my favorite motifs and I really liked the Twilight Stars. You can just autograph that book right over to me!

  17. Night Blooms is one of my favorites in this book. I love the inspiration and the gorgeous quilting! Scrappy Squares is also a favorite...I think is 'country'. Lovely!

  34. Wow! I love all of the quilts displayed. My first reaction to Scrappy Squares is country, but the center is modern to me. So, I guess I'd say county-urban. Looks like a great book!

  35. I love all of the patterns, but the Broken Stars Pattern is my favorite. The country look is so homely and I love the designs and colors chosen for them. Cheryl has done a great job with this book and I would love to have a copy so that I can start on them ASAP.
