Christmas Open House

Join us for Fat Quarters Quilt Shop Christmas Open House on Thursday evening, December 2, 2010 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The shop is decked out for the season with all sorts of eye candy -- quilts, gifts, and of course fabric.

Enjoy food, fun and prizes. Every half hour, raffle tickets will be handed out, and a winner drawn! {prizes vary}

Yes, you can shop too! Spend over $50 {before tax} and get a free enameled charm! Spend over $100.00 {before tax} and get a free Santa (quantities are limited).

Pumpkin Crumble Cake (edited)

(scrappy pumpkin quilt by farmhouse threads available now)

Pumpkin Crumble Cake

(1) 16 oz can pumpkin (or 1/2 of a 29 oz can)

(1) 12 oz can evaporated milk

3 eggs

1 c. sugar

2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

1 yellow cake mix

1/2 c. chopped pecans

1/2 c. melted butter

Mix the first 5 ingredients, (reserving the cake mix and butter). Pour this liqud mixture into greased 9x13 pan. sprinkle with cake mix. Sprinkle nuts on top. Drizzle melted butter all over the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 55 minutes.

Serve with whipped cream.
